It would take me most of the note just to list the ten varieties that make up the blend of Vagabond, so let’s say it’s Chenin Blanc based with a medley of French, Portuguese and Spanish grapes from 16 vineyards. Fresh, zippy and understated, it has negligible oak, pear, aniseed, lemon and lime flavours and a steely, low-alcohol finish. Drink date: 2023-2027. Score – 91.
