Crushed rose petal, graphite, wild herb and forest berry aromas emerge from the glass along with a whiff of eucalyptus. Full bodied and rather austere, the palate shows both concentration and finesse, offering dried cherry, blood orange, star anise and tobacco alongside assertive, close-grained tannins that leave a drying close.
