This youthful St.-Joseph is very stony, smoky and dusty in a positive sense and needs some aeration to show its true class. Austere and flinty on the focused, medium-bodied palate. Some graphite, too. Expresses the special personality of this appellation extremely well, and the very long finish has been beautifully crafted.
