This is a special anniversary wine that celebrates the estate’s 40th year (1982-2022). Closed with a red wax seal, the Mauro Molino 2016 Barolo M is a dense and richly endowed red that shows hands-on winemaking and quality control in terms of fruit ripeness and oak use. Dark fruit is followed by spicy cedar, toasted spice, iron ore and dark earth. The wine exhibits broad shoulders to carry all that pretty Nebbiolo concentration and complexity. Happy Birthday!
