Max Carmenère may not be the sexiest wine in the Errázuriz line up, but it’s often one of my favourites, delivering impressive value for money too. Smooth, refreshing and elegant, with liquorice, black cherry and patisserie flavours, filigree tannins and not a sign of vegetal greenness. Drink date: 2024-2030. Score – 94.
