‘The Riserva’ of Cortonesi, from the homonymous cru, with soils rich in clay and sandstone that give the Sangiovese shades of ‘dark’ and great gustatory tension. Nose of blueberries, with touches of lemon thyme and floral nuances, from gardenia. Juicy mouthfeel, brackish tannins, finish with fruity return. [Drink: 2024-2032+.] Score – 100.
