Picked early to preserve freshness in a warmer vintage, Sebastián Zuccardi’s superb Semillón hails from a 1974 parcel in El Peral. Lemongrass, lanolin and custard flavours areunderpinned by tangy acidity and framed by older 500-litre oak barrels. One of the best Polígonos whites. Drink date: 2024-2030. Score – 95.
