The Sassenach is blended using whiskies aged nine to twenty-one years. The final blend is finished in Madeira casks, which impart richness and complexity. The palate is teeming with orange zest, vanilla, apricot, honey and butterscotch flavours. The whisky finishes smooth with a subtle sweet spice note.
