Tawse Sketches Riesling 2022

Description

Clean, crisp, and classic, the Sketches riesling offers flavours of ripe peaches, apples, and apricots, alongside a faint, shower curtain-adjacent aroma. There is sweetness here for sure, but it is balanced by tart acidity. I would drink this riesling over the next couple of years, perhaps paired with sweet and spicy sauces, something along the lines of Thai, Laotian, and Indian curries. Tasted June 2024. Score – 90.
