Susana Balbo Crios Sustentia Malbec 2022

Description

There is a new wine made with certified organic grapes from their vineyard in Agrelo, the first vintage of which is the 2022 Crios Sustentia Malbec Orgánico. It’s a lighter expression of the place, with good freshness and also ripeness and development of aromas and flavors, with the textbook violets and black fruit, herbs and spice, although it’s bottled completely unoaked. It’s juicy and soft, with round tannins and a velvety texture. It was bottled unoaked in October 2022. Drink date: 2023-2025. Score – 91. (Luis Gutiérrez, robertparker.com, Nov. 30, 2022)
