Poggio San Polo Brunello di Montalcino 2020

Description

Plenty of red fruit with cherry and orange-peel character on both the nose and palate. It’s medium-bodied with a round texture and ripe-berry character. Juicy and velvety textured. Just a hint of white pepper and spice at the end. Very drinkable now, but better in two or three years. Try after 2027. Score – 94. (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 23, 2024)
