Olifantsberg Soul of the Mountain the Bull 2018

Description

Silhouette used to be a Syrah/Grenache blend, but has now been expanded to include 22% Carignan and 20% Mourvèdre, giving the resulting wine more intensity and grip. Stony, wild and deeply coloured, with sage and thyme aromas, spicy bramble and red berry fruit, lots of acidity and layered tannins. Drink date: 2024-2030. Score – 94.
