Maison Louis Jadot Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2023

Description

The 2023 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has quite an intense bouquet with mineral-rich citrusfruit, touches of flint and smoke developing in the glass. It has wonderful definition and gainsmore presence with several minutes’ aeration. The palate is well balanced with a silver bead ofacidity threaded through the slightly vanillary fruit. A delicate touch of ginger lends morecomplexity to the harmonious finish. This is an excellent Bâtard-Montrachet. Drink date: 2027-2048, Score – 93-95. (Neal Martin, vinous.com, Jan. 9, 2025)
