Lone Wolf Cinsault 2022

Description

This old-bush Cinsault was planted in 1953. The vineyard had been designated to be planted entirely to Pinotage, but a Pinotage shortage meant the project could not be completed. Fortunately, the remaining section was planted to Cinsault. The Lone Wolf, with its lifted floral notes, fragrant spices, cherry and fresh acidity, is a tasty reversal of that tired old saw about best-laid plans.
