Description

Rafa Tirado has been making this wine since 1996, but the 2018 release, produced from a cuvée of Merlot with 14% Cabernet Franc and 8% Syrah is the best yet, showing a difficult-to-achieve combination of finesse and intensity. Spicy, savoury and floral, with some tensionfrom volcanic soils, subtle wood and amazing palate length. Drink date: 2022-2028. Score – 95. (timatkin.com, Chile Special Report 2021)
