Description
Grapes for this wine from Ken Forrester’s Icon Range are from a single parcel of Chenin bush vines in Stellenbosch, planted in the early 1970s. The wine is fermented with ambient yeasts in 400-litre oak barrels, then aged on the lees in barrel for just under a year. Creamy and decadent, it offers layers of dried peaches, caramelized pineapple, apple strudel, and tarte tatin. Drink now through 2034.
