A representation of alluvial soils imparts considerably more detail and energy than found in its ‘I’ sibling. Red licorice, purple pastille, blueberries and an assortment of cloves, cardamon and pepper. A powerful wine, to be sure. However, there is levity, poise and welcome drinkability.
