Domaine de Bellene L’Eclos des Abeilles Coteaux Bourguignons 2023

Description

Coteaux de Bourgignons (Burgundy Hillsides) is the largest region appellation in Burgundy, encompassing all the Bourgogne and Beaujolais vineyards. This is from a single site of less than one hectare at 230 metres. It shows good colour depth and a generous nose of leesy breadcrust, apple butter, nutmeg and toast. It is medium-full bodied, quite firm and warm – more structure and intensity than expected. There is also grip and minerality on the finish. The length is excellent.
