Description

The 2021 Blanco Muscat Viejas Tinajas is mostly Muscat and 15% a mixture of other whites from Guarilihue, Itata, fermented and macerated with skins in earthenware vessels for 6 months and then another 3 months without skins. Amber in color. The expressive nose offers an aromatic profile rarely found in Chile: muscat, basil, aniseed and orange petit-fours. In the mouth, the texture is grippy with tannins from the grape and fairly low freshness. An exotic wine with a bitter layer that stretches out the finish. Drinking window: 2022-2030. Score – 92.
