Winemaker Keith Tyers has been working with the Chardonnay at Closson Chase for the past 20 years, understanding the vines and soils better than anyone. By splitting the blend between steel tank and barrel fermentation, he’s crafted a Chardonnay that balances rich tree fruit flavours with subtle hints of oak spice, creating a round wine with a piercing acidic backbone that’s so very Niagara.
