Still a little introspective, this is a wine of great concentration but also finesse, with a guaranteed future. Intense, savoury-sour wild berry aromas accompany a palate demonstrating depth of fruit, refined, fine-knit tannins, and a long, complex aromatic finish with a return of myrtle berry and wild herbs. While you’re waiting for this to evolve, the vintages to drink now from this top Bolgheri estate are the 2015 and 2016. Drinking window: 2026-2036. Score – 96.
