Cafayate Terroir de Altura Malbec 2022

Description

Another of Etchart’s very good and fruity malbecs, this includes 10% bonarda to give it even more fruit. Made with 10% stems in the fermentation, it has a good network of tannins that pierce the palate and call for meat. Aging lasted 10 months, but all in used oak to help shape those tannins. A very good value for money here, in a typical malbec from Cafayate, an area where the sun abounds. Score – 91. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2024)
