Borgodangelo Taurasi 2018

Description

Made from the aglianico variety, this is a really lovely example of Taurasi. All the componentsare perfectly balanced from attack to finish, and it delivers a compelling flavour profile led bybright red fruit and berries. The acidity is perfectly calibrated and the tannins are drying andeasily managed. It’s drinking beautifully right now and will hold to the late 2020s. (TastedFebruary 2025.) Score – 93. (Rod Phillips)
