Description

70% Sangiovese, 20% Sagrantino, 10% Merlot. A classy Montefalco Riserva with plenty of spice, red fruits, balsamic, red forest berries with a touch of chocolate, coffee and liquorice notes. Expressive palate with ripe, plush fruits some hints of violets and a savoury finish. A lovely wine with smooth tannins and nicely balanced oak. Score – 95. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2022)
