Angove Family Crest Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Description

From Sellicks Hill and Blewitt Springs; 12 months in second and third pass French barrels. Blackcurrant pastille, roasted nori, violet, ripe mulberry and some iodine; this is distinctly varietal, though trimmed of any overt leafiness. There’s a pleasingly supple play across the palate, the tannins gently extracted, running fine and chalky. It’s got some ready drinkability, along with detail and individual character.
